Happy Resurrection Sunday

Good Evening my brother’s and sister’s in Christ. It’s Resurrection Sunday. I wanted to bring you a mindful moment video for today’s post. As you are celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ think about all the things needed to be resurrected in your own life. Blessings.

It’s Always Been You!

Good Morning my brother’s and sister’s in Christ. We’re halfway through the week. I pray you’ve spent your time living intentionally and with purpose. I wanted to bring you a “Mindful Moment” today. As always, I hope it inspires you and causes you to self-reflect. Feel free to apply where necessary in your own life. Blessings!

In my journey to operating at my highest level of self, I’ve noticed all the channels created to lower my standard of greatness. All around me are mindsets, structures, and people who diminish my understanding of self-worth. Employers provide the amount they feel your position is worth. Family and friends provide insight from the level they’re at themselves. If they have no vision how can they encourage you to soar above your limitations? All my life I was taught things, people, and financial status determined my level of greatness. Now I realize those things have nothing to do with it at all.

When I think about reaching my highest level of self. I think about arriving, understanding, applying, and operating in the fullness of who God created me to be. When I grow in my relationship with God I grow in the discovery of me. Simply put, the more I find God the more I find myself. The first person to know how much we’re worth is Jesus. He is the one who established the best version of us. So our direction, and inspiration needs to come from Him. We won’t find our peace in things or people. Our self-worth can’t be obtained from money. The security we truly desire isn’t provided in our employers. All the things surrounding us are necessary to live but aren’t necessary to have life.

So how do we create an atmosphere of life? We ask Jesus to introduce it to us. We ask Him to show us where we need to place true value. To reveal to us what He had in mind when He formed us in our Mother’s womb. To put to death our old mindsets and concepts of self-elevation. We ask Him to show us how to love ourselves the way He loves us. To teach us how to find everything we’re searching for in Him which ultimately means we find it within ourselves. As we change inwardly we begin to shift our very atmosphere. Instead of praying for God to change our lives we become the change we’re looking for.

I want all of God’s people to get out of our heads and into our lives. The life which is given to us by Jesus Christ. There are so many of us who have chosen to live on a level less than what God had in mind. Searching for happiness and worth in things, people, and finances. Still feeling empty when we’ve acquired them. Understand this, “I create the correct conditions for prosperity. God has given me the mental capacity to invent opportunities for happiness, peace, and wealth for myself. The love I always searched for I found in God. My identity was found in God. My ability to operate at my highest level of self was found in God. God has already given me exactly what I need to become everything He intended me to be. I will NOT be anything less than what was intended.” This is how I speak to myself every day. I am training who I was to become who I am.

My brother’s and sister’s in Christ you are more than you realize. You’re more than the world perceives you to be. You have more greatness placed on the inside of you than you’re aware of. The person God intended you to be will transform your lineage. It will impact the multitude. It surpasses everything and everyone you have ever met. You have to believe it for yourself. Get to know it for yourself. Then become it for yourself. It’s time to level up internally. You are all the reason you need to transform your life. This isn’t about anyone else. It’s about you. It’s time you start doing it for you. Blessings.

Who’s It Going To Be?

Good Evening my brother’s and sister’s in Christ. I’m so glad you’ve tuned in for another Spirit-Care Sunday blog post. I pray you’ve placed it on your To-Do List this week to live intentionally and with purpose. As always I pray this blog inspires you to self-reflect and edit where necessary. Blessings.

I want you to ask yourself, “Who’s it going to be?” Your flesh or who God called you to be? What are you willing to give up for the sake of being everything God created you to be? What does your cost look like? Are you willing to risk it all for His name sake? These are the decisions you will be faced with when you say, “Yes” to God’s will for your life.

If you’re someone who is growing into who God called you to be I want to encourage you tonight. I want you to know God isn’t looking for perfection from us. The only perfect person to walk this earth was Jesus Christ. God is looking for our hearts. He’s looking for our obedience. He’s looking for those of us who get back up when they fall down. He is looking for those who want Him more than we want anyone else. He wants to be our addiction, our coping mechanism, our lover, our friend. He wants to be everything and everyone we put before Him including ourselves.

I had a real conversation with myself this evening. I asked myself a simple question. Who’s it going to be? Is it going to be my thoughts or God? My fleshy desires or God? Alcohol or God? Distractions or God? Unforgiveness or God? Old mindsets or God? Familiar spirits or God? Who’s it going to be? Is who God ordained me to be GREATER than who I know myself to be? Is it greater than anything or anyone I’ve ever experienced? Yes! Yes, it is!

You don’t have to settle for familiarity. Allow God to change you from the inside out. Allow Him to reboot your thought process. Don’t you want to be better than you were yesterday, a year ago, a decade ago? You can’t do it without Christ. There are some relationships you need to give to God. There are some old habits you need to give to God. There are some fleshy desires you need to give to God. So give it to Him. This is your opportunity. This very moment you can choose to give it all to Him. No guilt or shame. He’ll take you as you are. Don’t you know He desires you more than anything else? He loves you more than anyone even yourself.

You have to desire to be who God called you to be more than you desire anything else. You have to crave it and even if you get thrown off track you have time to get back up and move forward. I believe God for your choice tonight. This is personal. Just you and God. Choose Him. Choose who He created you to be. I’m choosing Him right now at this moment. Who’s it going to be for you?

“If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness. If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.”

1 John 1:8-10

Unintentionally Inspiring

Good Afternoon my brothers and sisters in Christ. Guess what? I’m doing a mid-week check-in with you guys. I know you’re used to my Sunday post, but I like to switch things up sometimes. I pray you’ve spent your week thus far living intentionally and with purpose. I was having a conversation with my husband this morning, and he said something I felt would inspire you. Taking into consideration our personal conversation I will share my takeaway versus the actual ins and outs of what we spoke about. As always I pray it causes you to self-reflect and adjust where needed. Blessings.

I started my relationship journey with Jesus Christ a little over a year ago. From this journey of “self-mastery,” my company was born and so was this blog. Growing in Christ I started thinking and processing things differently. I understood the way I lived my life accompanied by the mindsets I learned from people were my default setting. Ultimately, they weren’t how God intended me to operate. Needless to say, I grew. I developed new habits, new mindsets, new processes. I began operating my life with more intent and purpose. One thing I do often is daily self-evaluations. Asking myself several questions. Is what I’m doing growing me? Is it pushing towards God? Is it challenging me to be better?

Even when it comes to my level of influence I find myself always surveying. Asking am I helping grow the person I’m in connection with? Am I pushing them towards God? Am I challenging them to be better without being overbearing? One thing I’ve learned is when you begin changing who people know you to be they notice. They silently watch, wait, and take note to the newness of you. Some of those people will meet you at the level they’re comfortable at or rise to the occasion of new discovery. It’s up to us to evaluate the value they bring and decide if we’re able to provide them with our new found value.

Whether someone gives you accolades about your growth or not you have to know they’re watching. You have to know God has attached certain people to your ministry, your purpose, and your life. Delay in your growth places a delay in theirs. So how can you be of influence? Easy! Never stop growing. Never stop challenging yourself to be better. Never stop seeking direction from God. The way we live our life has three effects on people we’re connected to. It will keep them stagnant, set them on a backward spiral towards their default setting or push them into greatness. Which role do you want in the lives of those connected to you?

To be “Unintentionally Inspiring” means choosing to live your life at a level of greatness for yourself; causing people to be inspired enough to go after their own greatness. Yes, I made that up. Lol. It’s what it means to me. Before I am anything to anyone I have to be everything to myself. People who knew me can’t recognize me now. They aren’t supposed too. We all should be at a constant state of evolving. Every day I make it a point to be better than the day before. Every day I’m challenging myself to do something I haven’t done. Learn something I didn’t know. I encourage the people in my circle to strive for greatness for them, and not for anyone else.

I challenge you to ask yourself, “What role do I want to have in the lives of those connected to me?” Do you want to keep them stagnant, set them backward, or push them towards greatness? The way you choose to live your life determines the role you will serve in the lives of others. There’s no escaping it. Whether you want to or not you have the power of unintentional influence. There are too many people watching you. So choose to be GREAT. Blessings.

“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.”

Matthew 5:14-16

My Comments Were Turned Off

Good Morning my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray you’ve been living intentionally and with purpose. I recently noticed not many people were replying to my blog post. Not that I’m looking for it. Anyhow, I figured out that my comments were turned off. I have no clue how that happened. Needless to say, you are now able to comment on my posts. Thank the Lord. I look forward to your feedback on my content. I love reading and posting comments on other blogs so it’s great to see it in return. I love you all with the love of the Lord. Blessings.

The Balancing Act – Faith vs Works

Happy New Year my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that you’ve made plans to live intentionally and with purpose this year. We’ve made it all the way through 2018 by God’s grace and mercy. I am truly excited about 2019 and everything that’s in store for the next 12 months. I have an upcoming series that will start 1/11/19 entitled, “Faith, Food, & Fitness.” You can anticipate tips, recipes, workouts, and scriptural reference every Friday beginning 1/11/19. As the body of Christ, it’s important that we are intentional about the body that God has given us. It’s not just something that we use every day; it’s also the place where the Holy Spirit lives. I’ll be discussing my own experiences along with my journey to becoming my healthiest in my mind, body, and spirit. I’m super excited about this series and can’t wait to blog about it.

As always, I pray that today’s post will inspire you to self-reflect and make adjustments as needed with the help of Yahweh. Blessings.

I was sitting at my desk this morning and the Lord dropped in my spirit, “Faith without Works is dead.” A familiar scripture that I’m sure most of you have heard or recited a time or two. He followed up with, “Never to compete with each other but to coexist.” I found this to be an interesting revelation. Whenever Yahweh drops something in my spirit I always stop to meditate on it. I think to myself, “He’s telling me this for a reason.” I typically follow up with a quick prayer that says, “Give me your insight, understanding, and the wisdom to apply it, Father.” Then I open my bible. If I’m not at home I open the YouVersion Bible app on my cellphone.

Sidenote: YouVersion provided me with a snapshot of my stats from last year. I was at a loss for words. I didn’t feel proud that I used the Bible app 362 days out of 365. I was humbled because I understood how many times I needed Yahweh. If it had not been for Him and His word I wouldn’t have made it through the obstacles or reached my blessings in 2018.

“Glory Be To The Most High”

Back to the subject at hand. I then open my bible to read the chapter that references the subject or scripture He has given me. There is always a scriptural text that serves as the base of any revelation. After that I found myself thinking how many times has my Faith and Works competed?

Before I even address that thought it’s important that I lay a foundation of Faith and Works. Faith is defined as complete trust or confidence in someone or something. In Christian Theology, Works are defined as a person’s actions or deeds in contrast to inner qualities such as grace or faith. I know that internally I believe in Jesus Christ. I have Faith in His ability. There is nothing that He can’t do. The way that I show my Faith in Him is by my works which serve as the external expression of the Faith that I have in Him internally. That’s a mouthful, lol. What we do (our works) in this life should NOT be done separately from our Faith. Instead, it should be done due to our Faith. Our Faith is the inspiration for our works. So if we are INSPIRED in our Faith in God we ought to ASPIRE to be like Him in our actions aka our Works.

“Have the Faith to surrender the way you Work.”
T. Nolan

It’s not good enough to say we live for God then operate in disobedience. The same applies to other areas of our life. We can’t believe God to heal us from health issues then continue eating fast food. We can’t believe God to open the door for entrepreneurial success then go home and watch TV. We can’t believe Him to deliver us from alcoholism then keep drinking. There is Work associated with our Faith. They have to COEXIST for COMPLETION to take place. When that happens it says, “I have Faith in Christ and I show my Faith with what I do.” Our works are our ability to be obedient to the one we have Faith in, Jesus. It’s our ability to produce what the Father planted on the inside of us. My husband and I have Faith that Yahweh will bless us with natural children. Our works….. Well, you know how children come about. Lol. I have Faith that Yahweh is going to take “Mindful of Me Moments” and magnify it to the multitude. My works are shown by my diligence to create content, post blogs, network, and consistently hear from Yahweh for direction.

“When we put in the work He will create opportunities for us.”
T.Nolan

So when I think about the times my Faith competed with my Works I think about the times I believed in my own ability vs God’s ability. These were the times I put any and everything above Christ Jesus then expected Him to bless it. The nerve. Our Faith and Works should never compete. They go hand in hand. If you ever find that what you’re doing has taken over your Faith know that you’re working for nothing. Remember, apart from God we can do NOTHING. As the new year rolls out I challenge you to check what and who you’re working for. The only way you will ever be truly effective is when your Faith and Works are in God. Blessings.

Foundational Scripture

“What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them?  Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food.  If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
But someone will say, “You have faith; I have deeds.”
Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by my deeds. You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that—and shudder.
You foolish person, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless? Was not our father Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?  You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.  And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend. You see that a person is considered righteous by what they do and not by faith alone.
In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction? As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.”

James 2:14-26

My Ability vs God’s Ability

Good Evening my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that you’ve spent the week living intentionally and with purpose. We have arrived at day 2 of 5 in “The Top 5 Things Yahweh Showed Me About Myself in 2018.” If you read yesterdays blog than you are already aware that for the last five days of 2018 I will be posting something each day that focuses on what I’ve learned about me this past year. Yesterday I talked about how I had no idea who I was. If you haven’t already done so. Please take a second to go and read that blog before this one as it will take you on a journey throughout all five posts. As always I pray that it causes to you examine yourself and prompts you to allow Yahweh to make adjustments where needed. Blessings.

As a little girl, I was taught very early that I had to be responsible. We didn’t grow up with a ton of money so we found ways to be resourceful. I recall a story that my Mother reminds me of from time to time. I believe I was ten or eleven when this happened. My Mother was single Mother of 3 children when I was that age. We lived in a town-home in Chicago Heights, IL. She worked all the time and would sometimes struggle to put food on the table. This one evening she found herself crying because there wasn’t a full meal for us to eat. She says I went up to her and told her not to cry because I made the family dinner. I grabbed her hand and walked her down the narrow hallway into the kitchen. She arrived at the table which I set with paper plates, napkins, and utensils. I even had my younger siblings sitting at the table waiting for her. On the menu were canned corn and hard white rice that I attempted to perfect. Lol. It immediately made her smile. Even at the age of ten, I believed in my own ability. This survival instinct to make something out of nothing followed me throughout my entire life.

Now I know what you’re thinking. Making something out of nothing is a great trait to have. I agree. It is a great trait to have when used in the right context. I, however, spent a large portion of my life misplacing my ability in areas that God should have had dominion. This year Yahweh showed me how much I believed in my own ability. There were times I worked two jobs to fund my selfish desires instead of paying my tithes and believing God to be my provider. There were times I found comfort in my sin in order to numb pain instead of believing God to be my comforter. There were times I hide my past instead of repenting for it and allowing God to free me from its bondage. There were times I secretly walked around with shame and guilt instead of casting my cares on God. There were times that I bent over backward to get man’s approval instead of giving God my attention so that He could show me my worth. There were times that I laid awake at night trying to come up with a solution instead of seeking God for His understanding and wisdom. There were times that I lied instead of trusting that God would recover what I lost in my truth. There were times I took pills and drank alcohol to stop the voices of the enemy in my mind instead of calling on The Prince of Peace. Even without result, I spent years placing my ability over God’s ability.

The Word of God Reminds Us Of God’s Ability,

Then Job replied:
“How you have helped the powerless!
How you have saved the arm that is feeble!
What advice you have offered to one without wisdom!
And what great insight you have displayed!
Who has helped you utter these words?
And whose spirit spoke from your mouth?
“The dead are in deep anguish,
those beneath the waters and all that live in them.
 The realm of the dead is naked before God;
    Destruction lies uncovered.
 He spreads out the northern skies over empty space;
he suspends the earth over nothing.
He wraps up the waters in his clouds,
yet the clouds do not burst under their weight.
He covers the face of the full moon,
    spreading his clouds over it.
He marks out the horizon on the face of the waters
for a boundary between light and darkness.
The pillars of the heavens quake,
    aghast at his rebuke.
 By his power he churned up the sea;
    by his
wisdom he cut Rahab to pieces.
 By his breath the skies became fair;
his hand pierced the gliding serpent.
 And these are but the outer fringe of his works;
how faint the whisper we hear of him!
Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”

Job 26

With a God like this, why would we ever believe in our own ability vs His ability?

With four days left in 2018 I am grateful that Yahweh has shown me that I no longer believe in my own ability over His. Our relationship has grown and in that growth I am able to call on the one who dwells in the impossible. Yesterday he reminded me that in 2018 He showed me who I was. Today we reflected on the relinquishing of my own ability and adapting to God’s ability which has proven to be something this new creature in Christ loves more.

How Great Is Our God.

Yahweh Is…

Good Morning my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray you spent the week living intentionally and with purpose. This morning I was reminded of the times when God showed up for me. I know He is always present in my life, but there were certain events that He clearly showed Himself. It brought such a since of peace and adoration over me for the Father that I had to write about it. As always I pray that this post causes you to examine yourself and reflect on God’s presence in your own life. Blessings.

Yahweh Is My Friend

I grew up in the south suburbs of Chicago. We lived on a dead-end street and for the most part, the block had kids who were around the same age as me. Even though there were a lot of other young girls on the block I became friends with one who lived two houses down. Immediately, we formed a sisterhood. Playing outside with our Barbie dolls, eating dinner at each other’s houses, having sleepovers. We were so inseparable that we would even take family vacations together. Our friendship traveled throughout elementary, middle school, high school, college, and our adult life. Her family literally became my family. So much so that they sat at the throne of my heart. Being connected to them was the most important thing to me. As we started to evolve into young women our lives started to change. We abruptly had a moment of miscommunication that til this day I still don’t understand clearly. Needless to say, our twenty-plus year friendship ended. Just like that. One day we were besties then the next we weren’t. When she stopped talking to me so did her family. We would never recover from that separation.

Most of my life I dealt with a spirit of rejection. I grew up feeling like my parents didn’t love me. (That’s a story for another day.) After several failed relationships with men that familiar spirit of rejection would rise up over and over. So when my best friend didn’t want to be my best friend anymore, I was at a loss for words. Lord, why do people always leave me? Why do my relationships all of sudden just come to a screetching halt? What did I do to deserve this? Am I really that bad of a person that people don’t want to be connected to me?

Here’s the marvelous thing about our Father. He’s a jealous, God. That means he wants us and wants us to want Him. He doesn’t want anything or anyone to come in between us and Him. All of those relationships and people that I idolized were in God’s sit at the throne of my heart. If I was ever going to grow in God there had to be a division between me and everything/everyone that was competing for God’s position. How many of you have heard people say, “I lost something when I started living for God?” When you choose to live for God everything that prevents you from growing in that relationship has to die. Some relationships will die, some old habits will die, our reasoning and understanding will die. There is a cost associated with our relationship with the Father.

The Word of God says,

” The man of too many friends [chosen indiscriminately] will be broken in pieces and come to ruin,
But there is a [true, loving] friend who [is reliable and] sticks closer than a brother.”

Proverbs 18:24 (AMP)

Amazing isn’t He? Yahweh wanted to be my friend. Me! The one who everyone else would throw away. I had to get to a place in my life that when people left, and things didn’t work out I was still at peace. I grew to understand that their repositioning no longer altered who I was or how I saw myself.

When God is your friend you have someone who will never leave nor forsake you. His intentions are never of malice. When He says He’s going to do something He upholds it. He doesn’t quit on you, He enhances you. He is the epitome of a true friend. I didn’t understand friendship until I allowed Jesus to be my friend. In return, being His friend required a level of commitment from me that would remove all things/people that would compromise the progression of our relationship. I can truly say that I’m glad that I am now a friend of God.

Ask yourself: Who has Yahweh been to you? I want to hear your story. If you have some time write your response in the comment section below. Your brothers and sisters in Christ would love to hear your story as well. Many Blessings.

“There is no greater friend than Christ Jesus.

It’s Manifestation Time

Good Morning my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray you’ve spent the week living intentionally and with purpose. I was at work yesterday and one of my patients told me that everyone she meets with the name Tiffany is so precious. She told me I was so blessed and how grateful she was for my care. It prompted me to look up the meaning of my name and it blew me away. Tiffany means “Manifestation of God.” I sent my Mother a text to ask her if she knew the meaning of my name and she said no. She told me that she just made a post on Facebook that said: “It’s Manifestation Time.” Wow. My Mother is a Pastor and Prophet. From God’s mouth to our ears. It’s confirmation that we’re entering a season of “Manifestation.”

I’ve often heard or watched videos that are entitled, “How to Manifest” this or that. I believe like most, manifesting something has a lot to do with speaking things into existence.

The Bible references this same thing by saying,

“The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Proverbs 18:21

What we speak we shall have. In the same effect, what we allow people to speak over us will also manifest if we allow it. I know first hand how what we speak transfers over into who we are or what we will have. If you’ve read some of my other blog post I touch on how I didn’t see myself how God saw me. I spoke death over who I was created to be because I didn’t have a clear vision of that woman. I allowed people in my past to speak death into me which ultimately led to this person who had no self-love or value. It wasn’t until I gave my life to God that I was able to see clearly how valuable I really was then I was able to reverse what had been spoken over me. God manifested his spirit in me and now my eyes can see.

The Word of God says,

“Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.”

1 Corinthians 12:7

So when we talk about Manifesting something we need to acknowledge:

  1. The thing we’re speaking into existence.
  2. Is what we’re speaking into existence from God?
  3. Is what we’re speaking into existence fruitful or not? Recognize if it’s blessings or curses that are coming out of our mouth.
  4. Apply God’s Manifesting Power to what we’re speaking over our life.

If you are someone who has ever said, “I’ve been applying for a promotion for months now and it seems as everyone except me receives a promotion. I’ll never get promoted.” That’s speaking death over your ability to be promoted. Don’t you know that you’re a Kings kid. He is our provider. He qualifies the unqualified all the time. Our response should always be one that exemplifies prosperity because our Father is the embodiment

Look what our Father wants for us,

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

3 John 1:2 KJV

On the other hand, if you’re someone who has always felt less than. Felt like where you are in life at this moment is the highest level you will ever be. Felt like no one would ever love you or you would do nothing but fail. You must first acknowledge:

  1. Who spoke those things over you? There had to have been an entry point for you to develop these thoughts about yourself. If you can’t remember then pray and ask God to show you where it started.
  2. Once you know where it came from then decree and declare that you are no longer in agreement with those curses. That they are far from you and are thrown into the sea of nothingness. They will never return upon you. They have no home in you anymore. Decree that every curse spoken over your life is void and expired and no longer lays dormant in your life. You are free, In Jesus Name, Amen.
  3. Walk in your freedom.

Understand that manifesting something in your life is tied to your ability to speak something over your life then believing God will provide what you speak. If He has promised you something then you shall have it. Don’t find it odd or random that you’ve always dreamed of owning a business, being an Author, or psalmist. Those things were planted in you and in due season they will blossom. Don’t forget what God promised you because “It’s Manifestation Time.” Blessings.

Prayer of Manifestation

In the name of Jesus, we come to you right now Father thanking you for your Manifesting Power. You alone God manifested yourself in the flesh and sacrificed your one and only son for us so that we may have life. With that same power, you’ve given us access to your marvelous works. So, Lord, we speak your Manifesting Power over our God-Given Purpose. That it will rise up, drip with your anointing, and accomplish what it was created to do. We speak your Manifesting Power into our marriages, relationships, friendships, finances, health, and businesses. They are generationally prosperous in the name of Jesus. We speak your Manifesting Power over our minds. That the Word of God will have complete dominion over every thought, notion, concept, reasoning, and become the author of our knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. We speak your Manifesting Power over our children and their children and our lineage. That generational curses are broken indefinitely. That our bloodlines will raise a standard for the Kingdom of God. Father, we speak your Manifesting Power over attacks of the enemy. They will NOT prosper, they will NOT hold us captive, they will NOT torment us, they will NOT drag us into sin, they will NOT be hidden, they will NOT conquer us, and they will NOT manifest in the Name of Jesus. We bind every curse that has been spoken over our lives, Father. We no longer identify with those who cursed our names. Those people and spirits no longer find placement in our life. Lord, we decree and declare that with your Manifesting Power we are who you say we are. We will do what you say we can do. We have what you say we can have. Thank you,   Lord, for your Manifesting Power. In Jesus name, Amen.

Let’s Get Healthy

Good Morning my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray you spent the week living intentionally and with purpose. I’ve been waiting to post this particular blog as I was still getting clarity from the Lord. Being healthy is interpreted in a wide range of areas. Most of the post on Mindful of Me Moments speak to our inner self. Enabling us to grow in our ability to self-care and self-love. Today I want to touch on being physically healthy.

The word of God says,

“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.”

1 Corinthians 3:16-17

I don’t believe this verse solely pertains to our hearts and minds. I believe it also speaks to our physical health. Roughly a year ago I was diagnosed with High Blood Pressure. I was placed on medicine to aid in controlling it, but I would still find it to be high. Alongside HBP my back and knees cause me pain. My feet swell and I lose my breath relatively fast. A few years ago I lost 100 pounds through working out and dieting. Since then I’ve gained that weight back. My lack of self-control and discipline is the result of my current state.

So when Yeshua started to deal with me about self-care, self-love, self-control, and discipline. My physical health was apart of the conversation. He asked me, “Do you want your health to be the thing that hinders you?” Hinder you from having the energy to live out the purpose I’ve given you. Hinder you from enjoying activities with your husband. Hinder you from traveling. All of these different scenarios were laid before me and it made me make a decision. Did I want to spend another year, month, week, or day battling with unhealthy lifestyle choices? No, I didn’t. As if it couldn’t get any clearer God spoke to me in a dream about my Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Health. So even if I didn’t say yes to me; I was going to say yes to His instructions.

This weekend I made a plan. I wrote the plan down. I set goals with dates attached to them. Ultimately, I know how to lose weight, I know how to eat healthily. What I needed help with was my ability to be consistent. I heard Bishop TD Jakes say,

“Being RELENTLESS will get you there. Being CONSISTENT will keep you there. Being GRATEFUL will increase what’s there.”

I know how to be relentless. It was consistency and gratefulness that I needed help with. I started to think about my triggers. (See Check Yourself Post which speaks about identifying your triggers.) Stress was a trigger for me and my coping mechanism was food. I know so many people that find comfort in food. But how many of you know when we place anything in the place of God it hinders us? My self -care journey thus far has transformed my thought process and repositioned what was poorly positioned. Now when I feel stress coming my way I pray to Jesus about it first. The Word of God tells us,

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”

 Philippians 4:6-7

Situations didn’t have to stress me out. I allowed them to stress me out. I didn’t have to make poor health decisions to cope. I chose to make poor health decisions in the absence of Christ. Understand that the outcome will always be poor in the absence of Christ. Our physical health is just as important as our purpose, our relationships, our level of influence, and our happiness. You feel better when you eat and workout. You look better. You perform better. We can’t be content with the Holy Spirit living in any condition. He wants our mind, our spirit, our thoughts, our will, and our bodies to be healthy by God’s standard.

The Lord told me in a dream over the weekend that He wanted me to spend the next 365 days being disciplined. Specifically, in the areas that I lacked discipline. If I did what He instructed me to do then He would BLOW MY MIND. When God tells you something you better believe Him. I mean He doesn’t lie so………….

I challenge you to become disciplined in the areas that you lack discipline. It’s easy to write about our areas of strength, but what about the weak areas? What do you need to be more disciplined in? Remember, God will help you be consistent. He will increase you in that thing once He sees you are grateful. Don’t start at being relentless then fade away. God wants you to follow-through. Put Him first in all you do and He’ll see you through what you can’t see. Blessings.

To New Christian Bloggers From A New Christian Blogger

Good Morning my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray you’ve spent the week living intentionally and with purpose. As we are on our journey to becoming who God created us to be there will be times that we feel discouraged in our well doing. The word of God says,

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

Galatians 6:9

Being new to the blogging world I’ve already found myself being drawn into the anxiousness of counting my followers. I believe most new bloggers have had this happen to them. As for me, it’s not so much the recognition that I’m anxiously awaiting. It’s the ability to have a platform where I can share with His children what our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has done and is doing in my life. It’s the desire to want to tell how God delivered me from my sins, forgave me, cleansed me, and changed my identity. It’s the position of wanting to be used by the Father to spread His word so that others can also be changed. In the midst of my anxiousness, the Holy Spirit reminded me,

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”

Philippians 4:6-7

I was so anxious about doing my part in the Kingdom that I was getting away from the fact that His work is still being done in me. I was posting under the directive of the Holy Spirit to encourage the body of Christ, and He showed me what He really was doing was answering one of my prayers. I’ve prayed for the last several months about being consistent and disciplined. This blog along with other ventures has positioned me to be just that. So even though I pray that Mindful of Me Moments reaches the multitude, which it will do one day. Right now God is developing the woman He created me to be so that when the multitude comes I am in the proper position to handle it. We have to be equipped to handle the weight of the vision and I’m still in training. Ultimately, I desire for my brothers and sisters to be changed. I desire for you all too continually develop on your journey to self-care through Christ and that same thing that I’m praying for you is exactly what God is doing in me. He is changing and developing me every day.

Mindful Quote: “Don’t under develop yourself while you’re on your journey to helping someone else.”

T.Nolan

What’s the takeaway today? If you have heard from God and He has given you a vision for your life. Continue to focus on growing your relationship with Him first. When you do that He will give you instruction on when and how to develop your vision. God gives us a vision of what’s to come. He gives the vision to us as a glimpse of what His plans are for us. (As long as we stay connected to Him) In order to be the change, you have to first be changed. The Lord is allowing me to learn something new every day about me.

Don’t be discouraged in early beginnings. These are the times to prepare for the vision. Be consistent. Be disciplined. Be obedient to Christ. Have Faith and Do Work. Blessings.
