What Happens When We Apply Pressure?

Good Afternoon my brother’s and sister’s in Christ. I pray you’ve spent your time living intentionally and with purpose. We are a few days post my usual Self-Care Sunday blog. Seems I’ve been transitioning out of the routine of posting every Sunday. Needless to say, behind the scenes of blogging I’ve had my hand in a few other projects. My last post talked about the foundations of a Christian Holistic Lifestyle. To sum it up it’s the decision one makes to live whole in all aspects of life. Spiritually, Mentally, Emotionally, and Physically. I provided some ideas useful for promoting more activity in those 4 areas daily. I pray they helped all of you who are interested in shifting the way you’ve chosen to live.

This past week I found myself feeling off balanced. In the past when this feeling would come over me I would resort to things or activities to make myself “feel better.” Fast forward to the present day I’m more interested in acknowledging an unsteady emotion while discovering the trigger behind it. This week I couldn’t figure out the trigger immediately. What caused me to be in a state of “Blah?” One thing I know is we can be so close to a situation we can’t see what’s in front of us. I spoke to my Spiritual Mentor and she brought clarity to my clouded emotion. With her wisdom, we were able to pinpoint a trigger of mine. Goals! Expectations! Time!

Have you ever heard the phrase, “I’m my worse critic?” Truly, this is something God is healing me from daily. I no longer bash myself verbally like I once did. However, the pressure I place on myself to produce in a certain time frame doesn’t always align with God’s timing. The pressure was my adversary in the unbalanced emotional state I felt earlier this week. I realized even though I’m growing I can’t speed up the process of my growth. With all my goals and visions there is a time and season for them to fully bloom. The Bible depicts this concept as seed, time, and harvest. I believe most of us throw the towel in right when the “time” portion exceeds what we had in mind.

This was it! I subconsciously started to feel defeat, because I realized the journey ahead of me wasn’t instantaneous. I understood in order for me to operate in the fullness of who God created me to be would take more TIME. We spend so much of our life living how we want then expect God to expedite our journey to our purpose. Reflecting, I’m not sure I really conceptualized what it would take to undo all the layers of who I chose to be before I gave myself to Christ. With each growth spurt, I experienced an additional discovery of hidden triggers. Who I was all those years produced layers of chaos and as they are exposed God is correcting each layer.

I had a dream a few nights ago. My local Pastor spoke to me saying,” You are in a state of Corrective Chaos.” When I opened my eyes I looked up the definition of both words. I had this revelation: Corrective Chaos is the state in which God corrects or counteracts complete disorder and confusion. The Holy Spirit calmed my uneasiness immediately. Jesus is correcting EVERY chaotic thing associated with me and my history. This is why I couldn’t speed up the process. He was undoing what I had done while allowing me to grow in my newness. My instruction during this time was to endure the process, have compassion for who I was, and fall in love with who I’m becoming. Thank you, Jesus.

Perhaps you’re on your journey to purpose and find yourself applying pressure where it isn’t needed. Maybe you’re growing weary in your well-doing. If so, I want to encourage you. I want you to stop applying pressure in the places God is correcting. One thing I know about working under pressure is you’ll never produce optimally. If you operate in a state of pressure you lose the clarity, and wisdom needed for the task. It’s time to stop pressuring yourself to produce a harvest out of season. It will NEVER happen. So take a deep breath. Listen to what God is telling you. Most importantly, endure the process, have compassion for who you were, and fall in love with who you’re becoming. Blessings!

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Galatians 6:9

It’s Always Been You!

Good Morning my brother’s and sister’s in Christ. We’re halfway through the week. I pray you’ve spent your time living intentionally and with purpose. I wanted to bring you a “Mindful Moment” today. As always, I hope it inspires you and causes you to self-reflect. Feel free to apply where necessary in your own life. Blessings!

In my journey to operating at my highest level of self, I’ve noticed all the channels created to lower my standard of greatness. All around me are mindsets, structures, and people who diminish my understanding of self-worth. Employers provide the amount they feel your position is worth. Family and friends provide insight from the level they’re at themselves. If they have no vision how can they encourage you to soar above your limitations? All my life I was taught things, people, and financial status determined my level of greatness. Now I realize those things have nothing to do with it at all.

When I think about reaching my highest level of self. I think about arriving, understanding, applying, and operating in the fullness of who God created me to be. When I grow in my relationship with God I grow in the discovery of me. Simply put, the more I find God the more I find myself. The first person to know how much we’re worth is Jesus. He is the one who established the best version of us. So our direction, and inspiration needs to come from Him. We won’t find our peace in things or people. Our self-worth can’t be obtained from money. The security we truly desire isn’t provided in our employers. All the things surrounding us are necessary to live but aren’t necessary to have life.

So how do we create an atmosphere of life? We ask Jesus to introduce it to us. We ask Him to show us where we need to place true value. To reveal to us what He had in mind when He formed us in our Mother’s womb. To put to death our old mindsets and concepts of self-elevation. We ask Him to show us how to love ourselves the way He loves us. To teach us how to find everything we’re searching for in Him which ultimately means we find it within ourselves. As we change inwardly we begin to shift our very atmosphere. Instead of praying for God to change our lives we become the change we’re looking for.

I want all of God’s people to get out of our heads and into our lives. The life which is given to us by Jesus Christ. There are so many of us who have chosen to live on a level less than what God had in mind. Searching for happiness and worth in things, people, and finances. Still feeling empty when we’ve acquired them. Understand this, “I create the correct conditions for prosperity. God has given me the mental capacity to invent opportunities for happiness, peace, and wealth for myself. The love I always searched for I found in God. My identity was found in God. My ability to operate at my highest level of self was found in God. God has already given me exactly what I need to become everything He intended me to be. I will NOT be anything less than what was intended.” This is how I speak to myself every day. I am training who I was to become who I am.

My brother’s and sister’s in Christ you are more than you realize. You’re more than the world perceives you to be. You have more greatness placed on the inside of you than you’re aware of. The person God intended you to be will transform your lineage. It will impact the multitude. It surpasses everything and everyone you have ever met. You have to believe it for yourself. Get to know it for yourself. Then become it for yourself. It’s time to level up internally. You are all the reason you need to transform your life. This isn’t about anyone else. It’s about you. It’s time you start doing it for you. Blessings.

You Have A Voice

Some of us have been in relationships with people or things that cut off our ability to have a voice. Feeling like no one hears us. Being taught to be quiet about things that have happened in our past. Being ridiculed by someone when we speak. Giving power and authority to our negative thoughts which bring silence. Being fearful to say what God has shown us. Scared to tell someone when we need help. Taking verbal abuse from others. Allowing those around us to speak death in our lives. Worrying about what people will think if we open our mouths to praise Jesus.

Don’t you know there are life and death in the power of the tongue? Your gift is in your voice. I don’t know who I’m talking to, but I hear the Holy Spirit. If you could just speak with your mouth your circumstance would change. Your silence will be the thing that welcomes hinderance if you don’t start speaking.

You have to know our voices have power. Think about this… Our God in the book of Genesis created the heavens and earth with His VOICE. He SPOKE it and it existed. If we were made in His image and likeness. Wouldn’t He give us the same ability to speak something and it then exists? The problem is we don’t believe the power God placed inside of us. We have too much doubt and fear. Even though the Bible tells us, those aren’t spirits of God.

My brother and my sister in Christ. It’s time to speak up. You shall have what you say. If you say nothing you will have nothing. If you speak doubt and fear you will continue to have doubt and fear. If you repeat the negativity which was spoken over your life you will cultivate it. The enemy will continue to poison your purpose if you don’t start speaking life. Your healing is in your ability to speak it. Your breakthrough is in your ability to speak it. Your deliverance is in your ability to speak it. There are visions God has given you that have never left your mind. And He’s saying, “If you spoke what I showed you over your life you would activate it. Glory! Don’t spend another moment being quiet. It’s time to speak up. Remember, you have a voice. When you speak things exists.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”

Proverbs 18:21

Mindful Moment – God Can

Great Morning my brother’s and sister’s in Christ. This week is coming to a close. I pray you’ve spent your time living intentionally and with purpose. This morning I want to leave you with a thought. Think about the most outrageous goal you have. Really think about it. For some of us the goal may be to have a globally successful Christian business. Others it may be traveling the entire world or becoming the largest resource for women to find their God given purpose. No matter how far the reach of our goals is know that God’s abilities surpass our grandest thoughts. He reaches places we can’t imagine having access too. If you’ve ever limited the idea of where you can go, who you can be, or the influence of what you can do. I’m here to tell you, STOP LIMITING GOD. He takes us where we can’t go on our own. He already placed the best version of us inside of us. He told us He made us in His image. His word says, “we rule over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” Which means we came out the womb with authority and influence.

I challenge you to retrain your thought process. When you’re connected to Jesus Christ you’re connected to the ultimate source. There’s nothing too hard for God. Next time you pray do it with authority. Decree and declare (whatever the outrages goal) it’s mine, I shall have it, it belongs to me. Remember, God CAN. Blessings!

God Gave Us An Opportunity

Good Morning my brothers and sisters in Christ. The Lord has blessed us to see another week. I pray you choose to spend your time living intentionally and with purpose. This morning while I was in prayer the Holy Spirit brought the word “Opportunity” to me. This is my first day back at the office and typically I’m not thrilled about heading into work. Some of you may know I’m transitioning into a full-time entrepreneur in Jesus name. Until it happens I still have a 9-5 job. As I was getting ready to leave the house I kept hearing the word “Opportunity.” I thought what are you trying to tell me, Jesus? What opportunity?

The Holy Spirit said, “Everyday you wake up you have an opportunity. An opportunity to be better than yesterday. An opportunity to go after your goals. An opportunity to grow. An opportunity to walk in your healing. An opportunity to fulfill the purpose God has given you.” Glory be to the Highest. How many times have you crawled out the bed, dreading the day ahead of you? I know I have many times. God is telling us we ought to wake up excited about the OPPORTUNITY we are given every day.

Opportunity means we still have time. We can get it right. We can overcome. It means God still has plans for us. People of God. We woke up with an amazing gift. Opportunity.

Today I urge you to remember this, it’s easy to miss opportunity when we’re focused on adversity. It’s time to shift our perspective. Blessings.

“Be very careful, then, how you live not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”

Ephesians 5:15-17

The Best Version of You

Good Morning my brothers and sisters in Christ. We have made it through the week. Glory be to God! I pray you’ve spent your time living intentionally and with purpose. One thing that I love about Yahweh is how He consistently reveals to me the many layers of our relationship. Just when I think I’ve learned all I can learn at this level He stretches me further. As I was sitting at my desk yesterday He told me, “The best version of you already exists. Stop covering it up with what you think is missing.” That part! Wow!

How many times have we talked ourselves out of greatness? How many times have we limited our ability, because we didn’t believe we had the right relationship to grow us. How many times have we suppressed what God placed in us to substitute it with something or someone we thought we were missing? I know I’ve done it time and time again. It reminds me of a concept that I live by when it comes to accomplishing goals. That being, “The only difference between successful and nonsuccessful people is the time they put into their goals.” God told me His people give up easily. Our followthrough is horrible. This is why we have such a hard time seeing He’s already made the best version of us. We won’t seek me long enough to meet that person.

I hear you, Lord. He wasn’t just talking about my siblings in Christ. He was talking about me. I can vividly pinpoint the times that I gave up on God, because of my lack of patience. Believing He must have changed His mind about what He promised me, because it didn’t show up when I thought it would. I didn’t understand He was taking me through my process to prepare me for the promise. I didn’t understand that had He given me the promise before I was ready for it I would mess it up once I had it.

I want to encourage you while you’re on your relationship journey to becoming a better you. EVERYTHING that you need is already within you. God didn’t forget to leave out the essential tools for your purpose. Don’t focus on the Mother or Father who was absent. The best version of you isn’t contingent upon their presence in your life. Never stop pursuing your purpose, because no one has invested in you. God said, “I’m your investor.” Don’t allow your past to conceal the best version of you any longer. GOD believes in what He made. He believes in the seed He planted in us, and we know what seeds do. They eventually grow up and out through the dirt. This is why I’m so closely attached to my brand, “In His Image.” If the word of God says, I’m made in His image. Why would God make something in His image, and not equip it to be great? He wouldn’t. We prevent ourselves from being great.

God wants to introduce you to who He created you to be. No longer can we afford to search for ourselves everywhere else except in God. Remember, the best version of you already exists.

“You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

Ephesians 4:22-24

Mindful Moment – You’re A Winner

Good Morning my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray you’ve been living intentionally and with purpose. For today’s “Mindful Moment” I want to ask you one simple question. What are you afraid of? Often times we count ourselves out before we even put forth the effort to try to accomplish the goal. We spend so much time worrying about failing that we forfeit the opportunity to actually win. In every situation, there’s an opportunity for a win. If you try something new and fail. It’s a WIN. Now you know what’s not for you. If you do something outside of your comfort zone. It’s a WIN. You’ve overcome fear. If your family or friends don’t support your vision. It’s a WIN. Your vision is too big for them to fathom. What’s the worst thing that can happen? You Winning? Don’t allow your doubt or fear to get in the way of your opportunity to WIN. I encourage you to face every moment with a winning mindset. No matter what the outcome is I guarantee you’ll get a win. Blessings.

The only shot missed is the one not taken.

Mindful Moment – A Love Poem

Good Afternoon my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray you’ve spent your time living intentionally and with purpose. I wrote this piece on my lunch break today. I know that it’s the day of “love.” I’m sure most of you have made some gesture to a loved one, a friend, Jesus, or yourself. One thing that I love about Yahweh is that He is the epitome of intentional. Everything He does is with purpose. So in the spirit of this “love” day, I was drawn to reflect on how much He loves me. Poetry is my first love when it comes to writing. I don’t share it much but this piece meant something to me. I pray you enjoy it. Happy Love Day. Blessings.

Who is this woman you created me to be?

This creature who I’m learning to love.

I wonder what you were thinking when you weaved me together.

Did you intentionally make me a creative?

Did you say, “Passion” will be in this one?

I wonder if you intentionally made me with dimples and long hair.

If you purposely gifted me with my hands.

Did you mean to make me a “go-getter?”

What about my desire to build women up?

Did you place that in me while I was in my mother’s womb?

How did you find the time to be so methodical in creating me?

Did you know that I would be in this place right now?

A place of complete submission to you?

Did you know that you would be introducing me to your original craftsmanship 33 years after her birth?

I can’t imagine how it feels to perfectly form something that won’t begin developing til decades later.

How loving and patient you are.

The more I think about you the more I am in awe of your existence.

I’m filled with emotion every time I try to conceptualize your thoughts.

You love in a way that I will never.

Your mind goes beyond my greatest ambition.

You’re the ultimate creative.

Guess that’s why you made me in your image.

You wanted me to see the greatness of you in me.

Thank you, Yahweh!

Thank you, for loving me.

Mindful Morning

Great Morning my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray you’ve spent the week living intentionally and with purpose. I won’t hold you long this morning I just wanted to share with you something the Holy Spirit shared with me last night. As I was in worship I asked Him what do the people need to know. The Holy Spirit said, “God requires us to give Him all of us, because He gave us all of Him.”

Maybe you’re someone who has struggled with giving God all of you. Maybe you find yourself repeating the same cycle of events that bring you no good. Maybe that thing you can’t seem to shake is your attitude. Maybe it’s your dependency on your job. Maybe it’s your trust in man. Maybe it’s trust in yourself. Whatever the case we serve a God who has already gone ahead of us and paid the ultimate price so that we can have life. There is nothing that we will lose that can compare to what God has already lost when He allowed His one and only son Jesus Christ to be sacrificed.

Remember, the fear you feel to lose it all for the name of Jesus is keeping you from the very thing that will completely transform your existence. Blessings.

Something to watch for – I talk about “How to give God your all” in my new book coming soon. Be looking out for the release of my book, “Relationship Goals.” A beginner guide to building your relationship with God.

Is Your Vision Limited?

Good Morning my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray you’ve spent the week living intentionally and with purpose. I was reading in the Gospels this morning. More specifically, John 1. Towards the end of the text, we find Jesus preparing to journey to Galilee. He calls, Philip to follow Him. Philip then goes to get Nathanael to whom he says, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” Skeptical, Nathanael replied, “Nazareth! Can anything good come from there?” Once they arrived the conversation went like this:

When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, he said of him, “Here truly is an Israelite in whom there is no deceit.” “How do you know me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus answered, “I saw you while you were still under the fig tree before Philip called you.” Then Nathanael declared, “Rabbi, you are the Son of God; you are the king of Israel.” Jesus said, “You believe because I told you I saw you under the fig tree. You will see greater things than that.” He then added, “Very truly I tell you, you will see ‘heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending on’ the Son of Man.” John 1:47‭-‬51 NIV

After reading the text I immediately felt the prompting of the Holy Spirit asking me, “have you ever limited Gods ability?” I can remember times where all I wanted was to know that God was listening to me. Not understanding that He knows all, sees all, and has a plan for my life. Maybe like me, you’re someone who needed healing from their past, control of their finances, or peace. All circumstances that Jesus Christ sees.

The Holy Spirit continued to speak to me. Saying, “What we perceive as hard times doesn’t even qualify as an issue to God.” I can look back over my life and glimpses of the times where I was stuck in my hurt, pain, and loss of identity will pop up. They serve as a reminder that I spent so much of my time focused on how I saw myself and what I was going through when God already knew. Not only did He know me but in spite of my flaws, there were things he wanted to do in me that I couldn’t even begin to imagine.

I believe that sometimes when we spend so long desiring to be healed, financially stable, or just to have consistent peace that’s all we can see. We pray without ceasing for our circumstance to change, for our living situation to change, for our relationships to change. Then we find out that as we seek God more He changes less of those things and more of us.

So how does this all tie together with Nathanael and Jesus? Nathanael believes that Jesus is the Messiah because Jesus sees Him under a fig tree. Guess what? No matter what your prayer is or what you’ve been through Jesus sees you. Jesus then goes on to say, you believe I’m the Messiah because I told you I saw you under the tree? He may be saying to us, “You believe I’m the Messiah because you got that promotion?” That’s not even the beginning of what I can really do in your life. Just wait and see what I’m really capable of doing. Heaven will open up and angels will appear. The God that we pray to over relationships ending, doors closing, and our finances. Is the same God who will open the windows of Heaven. Heaven! While we’re worried about Him blessings us with a new car.

We have to stop asking God the perform a miracle on circumstances that He has equipped us to handle. Not everything we pray about requires fire from heaven. This is why He changes us instead of the circumstance because if He can change us then we can change the circumstance.

God sees you. He hears you. You are significant. So much so that he knows the number of hairs on your head. I challenge you today to change how you see Jesus. Understand there’s more to Him than just helping us which means there’s more to us. God has placed all these amazing talents and gifts inside of you. We have to allow our vision to be more like God. I encourage you to see yourself. Get a good look. Then realize that the God who opens Heaven Spirit lives within you. You’re capable of more than what you think. Stop limiting the capacity of the gift that is Christ Jesus. Remember, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Blessings.

Mindful Morning

Good Morning my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray you’ve spent the week living intentionally and with purpose. I don’t normally write a blog this early in the morning but I’m so full with God’s Holy Spirit that I had to write about it. The past few days I’ve continued to hear and see the same message. All having to do with living out your purpose. I am someone who still works a 9-5 but is transitioning into becoming a full-time entrepreneur. I know that this year is my year of preparation for that transition. I attended a Masterclass Tuesday evening. “How To Write & Self-Publish A Book.” For those who don’t know I am currently working on my first book. It’s a starter guide on how to build a relationship with God. I’m completely honored for the vision that Christ has given me for the project and can’t wait till it comes out.

So what does this have to do with you? I’m glad you asked. God created every single one of us with a purpose. There is a special work in you that is instrumental to the Kingdom of God. It is our business to find out what that work is then complete it. There is someone waiting for you to write that book, start that business, become that Doctor, obtain that License. Whatever the call is on your life know that it is bigger than you. Don’t hold up someone’s deliverance because you refuse to be who you were created to be. I want us all to win. So go be great! After all, you were created to dwell in greatness.

Today, I challenge you to do more for your purpose. If you already know God’s purpose for your life then invest in it. Take a class, network with people in that field, supplement leisure time for more time in your calling. Find a balance but definitely increase your efforts if need be. I love you with the love of the Lord. I can’t wait to see the things you’ll accomplish for the Kingdom of God.

Being Present In The Process

Good Afternoon my brothers and sisters in Christ. We are in the second week of the new year and I pray you’ve spent your time thus far living Intentionally and with Purpose. I was recently listening to a podcast from a business coach I follow. She said something that really resonated with me. She said, “Your business is a baby. Babies aren’t born immediately.” It reminded me of one of my previous blogs, “Am I in Proper Position.” In this blog, I referenced how God showed me that I was in my incubation period. Incubation being in a state that provides optimal conditions for growth and development.

Yahweh was growing and developing me. He was also growing and developing my relationships, purpose, and business. Along with my long list of 2019 goals. I had to purpose in mind to take the time to “Be Present in the Process” while allowing Yahweh to continually grow and develop me. It’s so easy to want to microwave your goals, relationships, and purpose. Even when we know things come out better when they have fully developed over time. So let’s talk about just being present. As always, I pray that this blog inspires you to self-reflect and allow correction in areas where you may need an extra moment of Mindfulness.

The Word of God says,

“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”

Matthew 6:34

If you’re anything like me then you’ve already started working on your 2019 goals. Even though I’m a stickler for making a goal, and putting a date on it. I found myself thinking, “How am I going to reach some of these goals this year?” Then during my meditation time the Lord revealed to me that some of my goals are more about the progression towards the goal versus actually completing the goal before the end of the year. To be honest, I was relieved. I didn’t want to get so wrapped up in the completion part that I forget about the steps that need to take place before the finished product. My blog, business, and relationships all are things that require daily progression. Not everything will have a date of completion. Some of our goals are simply a continual progression of growth. That understanding alone should prompt us all to remove daily pressures and just focus on “Being Present in the Process” of our growth and development.

Meditation for me has always been about being present in a state of rest. Allowing my thoughts to be still in the moment. It reminded me not to take for granted my ability to be present in the midst of my to-dos. It reminded me to, “Slow Down.”

The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

Exodus 33:14

I encourage you to sort out your 2019 goals and acknowledge the ones that are about progression versus completion. I also encourage you to take the time to find a moment of rest in the midst of your process. Don’t be overwhelmed with completing things that you will forever be continually growing in. Allow yourself to feel and see how you’re evolving. Don’t diminish your level of growth by focusing on a finish line that isn’t there. Be Present in the Process. Blessings.

Who Has Time For Self-Care?

Good Evening my brothers and sisters in Christ. It is the last Sunday in 2018. What a year it has been. I pray you’ve spent this year living intentionally and with purpose. We have made it to day 5 of “The Top 5 Things Yahweh Showed Me About Myself in 2018.” As a recap, I’ve shared how He showed me that I had no idea who I was, I believed in my own ability versus His, I struggled with unforgiveness, and how I placed everything except Him at the throne of my heart. Seeing as “Mindful Of Me Moments” was created when I received a revelation that God was mindful of me when I wasn’t mindful of myself. It was only right I ended this mini-series speaking about how He showed me that I was unaware of how to self-care. I pray that this post encourages you to self-reflect and if needed inspires you to alter your own ability to self-care. Blessings.

If you been following this mini-series the last 5 days then you have a good idea of the areas that I struggled with in my lifetime. You’re also aware of how Yahweh has healed me in those areas. I won’t spend time revisiting any particular instances where I didn’t properly consider the care of myself. What I will do is talk about how Yahweh has enhanced my knowledge of self-care as well as share a list of things that I do now that promote positive self-care.

If you’re anything like me then you’re use to always having something on your plate. No time to sit down. There is work to do. Clean the house, cook dinner, tend to my spouse, do schoolwork, respond to emails, attend church, attend family functions, be the mediator in friendships, and take care of the kids for those who have children. This year Yahweh showed me what my to-do list consisted of and guess what? I wasn’t anywhere on it. Out of all my obligations, I never considered myself as an obligation.

It’s amazing how we can make time for everything and everyone else except ourselves. The crazy thing about that is you spend the most time with yourself. When Yahweh revealed that to me I literally had to ask Him what I should do. I had no idea what it meant to have a positive self-care routine. Piece by piece He showed me. Before I list my self-care routine I want to mention that you will not be as effective to anyone or anything if you are not taking the time to self-care. You need a healthy mind, body, and spirit in order to function at your highest capacity. With that being said, here is my self-care routine.

  1. I find moments of quiet time daily. Doesn’t matter where I am. I can be at work, at home, in the car. I make it a point daily to sit in quiet and meditate. Sometimes that consists of a 15-30 min breathing technique. That helps me to focus on my breath instead of my mind running all over the place. Other times I recite positive affirmations over and over.
  2. I write daily. You don’t have to be gifted in writing to write. Even if no one ever reads what you wrote it’s a healthy habit to keep a journal. Writing has always been therapeutic for me. It allows me to put my thoughts, ideas, revelations, and goals on paper. Out of my mind and on paper.
  3. I use aromatherapy scents daily. I have a diffuser that sits on my nightstand. If I need to relieve stress I’ll drop some eucalyptus. If I need to calm my spirit I’ll use lavender. To wake up I use orange or grapefruit in the morning. I also use aromatherapy in the bath along with Epsom salt to soothe my body. I have aromatherapy body oils that I put on depending on how I’m feeling. Our sense of smell sends triggers to our brain. If you don’t currently use some type of aromatherapy I encourage you to try it out. It helps.
  4. I drink tea. I have a complete section in my kitchen that’s dedicated to tea. I have my electric tea kettle, mason jars filled with loose leaf tea, and a pitcher of bagged teas. I probably have about 30 different teas. Tea is RELAXING. I drink it daily. If I’m sick, if I need energy, if I need to sleep, if I need to be calm. Tea is a big part of my self-care routine.
  5. I eat healthily and workout. This is something that is on my 2019 Vision Board. I was diagnosed with High Blood Pressure earlier this year and am currently working towards getting off my meds. This means that the way I eat has now become a goal for me moving forward. If we are unhealthy in our physical body then we for sure limit our opportunities. Along with that comes working out which should also be a priority in our ability to self-care. How we feel in our body affects what we do.
  6. I monitor my thoughts and speak life into myself. There is life and death in the power of the tongue. We shall have what we speak. I have become very cautious about the things that I allow to come out of mouth especially about myself. Our thoughts determine how we feel about ourselves. Being mentally sound stems from what or who we listen to, and what we say about ourselves. So be conscious of what you’re thinking and saying about yourself.
  7. I spend time with myself outside of the home. That’s right. I get a break from home and work. Lol. Majority of the time I do this while getting a mani and pedi which again is, RELAXING. Other opportunities include getting a facial, massage, shopping, or getting your hair done. Any activity that relieves stress or anxiety I’m all for.
  8. I listen to music. Music is another avenue that alters your mind. I listen to a lot of gospel, worship, and Christian rap. When I’m looking for a chill/funky type of music to zone out or write too I listen to, Sango Radio on Pandora. Go check it out if you haven’t. You’re welcome in advance. It’s a VIBE.
  9. I buy myself something every month. Sometimes I get expensive things. Sometimes I buy something as simple as a new journal. This is something that my husband taught me to do. I use to be very frugal. I still am in some respect. What he taught me was I should not work just to pay bills. Now we’re wise when it comes to finances. However, it’s important to treat yourself consistently not just for special occasions. You don’t know how many women and men I’ve come across that can’t remember the last time they bought themselves something. I promise it matters in your self-care routine.
  10. I invest in my spirit daily. Understanding that the Holy Spirit lives within me. It was important to implement a self-care routine for my spirit. I read the word of God every day. I pray every day. I deny my flesh so that my spirit can be strong every day.

As you can tell there is a common theme among my top 10 self-care techniques. The theme being anything that I can do to promote relief, relaxation, growth, and appreciation for me. All of the techniques have made a tremendous difference in my ability to self-care. I’ve learned what I like, what I don’t like, how to relax, how to wake up, how to focus on me, and how not to forget that I have an obligation to myself to be healthy enough to be effective.

This year has been the most impactful year that I have had to date. I’ve acquired so much new knowledge of Yahweh and myself. I’ve grown in my relationship with Him and with me. All of which has made me more effective in my marriage, friendships, business, and ministry. In less than 12 months I’ve reached a level of intimacy with Christ that I never knew I could, I learned my true identity, my purpose was born, I faced my greatest fear, my marriage completely leaped in progression, I started a business, I fell out of agreement with things and people that blocked my spiritual growth. For the first time in my life, I finally started living intentionally and with purpose.

Thank you, Yahweh. 2018 Blessed Me.

Who Has Your Heart?

Good Evening my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that you’ve spent another day living intentionally and with purpose. If you’ve been following my blog the last few days then you are aware that I’ve been posting about “The Top 5 Things Yahweh Showed Me About Myself in 2018.” We are on day 4 of 5 of this mini-series. To recap we’ve discussed how Yahweh revealed to me that I had no idea who I was, that I believed in my own ability over His, and that I struggled with unforgiveness. All of which He has changed in me. Tonight, I will be discussing how He revealed to me that He was not at the throne of my heart. As always I pray that this post prompts you to examine yourself and pushes you towards God. Blessings.

The first time I heard the phrase “Throne of your heart” was during a sermon by Pastor Michael Todd from Transformation Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. It put into perspective the way I looked at every task, relationship, and obstacle I faced thereafter. The sermon served as confirmation to what God was already doing in my life. If anything, it brought about further clarity in regard to my priorities. I understood that if I were going to live for Christ then that required a level of obedience. As I continued to grow in God I would soon learn that my relationship with Him was more than just being obedient.

The Word of God Says,
“Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”

Proverbs 4:23

As this year progressed I started to shift the amount of time I spent with Yahweh. I began waking up at 4 am every morning to pray and read my bible. I would listen to sermons throughout the day at work when I had the opportunity too. I stopped feeding my spirit anything that was on the radio or on T.V. I even stopped engaging in certain conversations with friends. Making those few adjustments showed me a couple of things. It showed me that my desires for certain things shifted. It also showed me all the things that I once placed before Yahweh. Work, relationships, money, ministry, school, my flesh. All of these things were sitting in God’s sit at the throne of my heart.

The shift happened when I realized God doesn’t fit into my life. My life fits into God. I no longer made my own plans. I consulted Him in order to obtain the plan. In doing so, I began to desire to know Him more intimately. I get excited about spending time with Him. I’m interested in growing closer to Him through His word every day. I started to form a real relationship with Him. It reminds me of times when you start dating someone and you’re super consumed with them. You can’t wait to talk to them in the morning. You stay up all night on the phone even if you have to work the next day. They’re always on your mind. You even share your life story with them. That’s how I started to feel about Yahweh. I couldn’t wait to speak to Him in the morning, and before I went to bed. He was and is still always on my mind. I’ve granted Him access to all my secret places. I am utterly consumed by His presence. For the first time, He was and is truly the front-runner in my heart.

My obedience to Christ led me to the discovery of what it really meant to have Him seated at the throne of my heart. Who you are, what you do, what you desire, how you perceive things, how you conduct yourself, how you feel, your actions, your responses, your emotions, your character all come from what’s in your heart. This is why the Bible speaks so much about our heart. We will NEVER change any of those things without first changing our heart.

Know we can only permanently change our hearts with God. He is the only person who can successfully handle the job. Understand, He doesn’t want us to give Him our heart because we’re scared of what will happen if we don’t. Believe me, He’ll know the reason why we’re doing it anyway. Our hearts will tell Him. He wants us to give Him our hearts because we desire to know and live for Him.

In 2018, I grew in love with Christ. I took every idol out of His seat and I put Him in His rightful place. I did it because I knew that apart from Him I would continue destroying myself. So I gave it the one and the only person who could take care of my heart, Him. When I did that He started showing me who He was and what He could do. I’ll never take Him out of His rightful place again. YAHWEH will FOREVER have my HEART.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart;
do not depend on your own understanding.
Seek his will in all you do,
and he will show you which path to take.

Proverbs 3:5-6

The Greatest Understanding of Forgiveness

Good Evening my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that you’ve spent the week thus far living intentionally and with purpose. We are on day 3 of 5 in “The Top 5 Things Yahweh Showed Me About Myself in 2018.” If you have not taken the time to read posts 1 & 2 I encourage you to do so before reading this one. As excited as I am for 2019 it was important for me to spend the last few days of the year reflecting on how far God has brought me from the beginning of the year. As always I pray that this post causes you to examine yourself and prompts you to allow Yahweh into your mind, heart, body, and spirit. Blessings!

I grew up in a Pentecostal Church. I remember being a young girl and wearing long skirts at all times when I was outside of my home. Attending Sunday School and afternoon service. Serving dinner on first Sunday after church. Participating in “Watch Night Service” on New Year’s Eve followed by the feet washing ceremony. Til this day I can’t stand touching feet, lol. Don’t forget being baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. You would think growing up in the church I would have had a better understanding of Yahweh but I didn’t. The things that I remember for the most part were geared towards religious practices versus relationship. As time went on I was exposed to so many things outside of God that I found myself further and further away from the little girl that grew up wearing long skirts. It wasn’t until this year that I really formed an intimate relationship with Yahweh which would ultimately alter my understanging of everything that I wasn’t taught.

I felt it necessary to write about my experience growing up in church because even at that age and in the church I was exposed to sexual perversion. Not only was I but so were other children around me. Not understanding that “playing house” and touching private parts was a door that was opened for the enemy to come in even as children. I spent years trying to forgive myself for operating in spirits that were attached to me as a child. Repenting for things that I didn’t understand at that time in my life. But how great is the God that we serve? This year Yahweh gave me the greatest understanding of forgiveness.

The Word of God Says,
Where is another God like you,
who pardons the guilt of the remnant,
overlooking the sins of his special people?
You will not stay angry with your people forever,
because you delight in showing unfailing love.
Once again you will have compassion on us.
You will trample our sins under your feet
and throw them into the depths of the ocean!

Micah 7:18-19

The part that stands out the most to me in this scripture is the mentioning of the word “remnant.” “Where is another God like you, who pardons the guilt of the remnant overlooking the sins of his special people.” Remnant means, “trace remaining.” The years that I spent carrying the guilt around from things that happened in my childhood, God was telling me that even the small traces left of that guilt he has already overlooked. Jesus! So what the enemy exposed me to as a young girl no longer stood against me as this Woman of God you see today.

The enemy doesn’t want you to forgive yourself. He doesn’t want you to forgive others. If he can keep us captive in unforgiveness he stops us from being free, having peace, and growing in our relationship with God. He’ll do anything to stop us from being who God created us to be. But I’m here to tell you as someone who has forgiven herself and those who hurt me. The plan of the enemy FAILED. Not only did I fall out of agreement with everything that he attached to me as a child. I repented, forgave, and grew in God.

When I tell you no one can do a thing like, Jesus Christ I mean it. If you are struggling with forgiveness I challenge you to start spending more time with Yahweh. Get in His word and apply what it says to your life. I guarantee your life will never be the same. In 2018 Yahweh showed me that I was struggling with unforgiveness but through my intimate relationship with Him I am now walking in my forgiveness.

“Understand this one thing. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ holds forgiveness in His heart for you. Don’t spend another year carrying around the weight of something that God has already forgotten.” ~T.Nolan

“He has not dealt with us according to our sins, nor punished us according to our iniquities. For as the heavens are high above the earth, so great is His mercy toward those who fear Him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us.”
Psalm 103:10-12

My Ability vs God’s Ability

Good Evening my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that you’ve spent the week living intentionally and with purpose. We have arrived at day 2 of 5 in “The Top 5 Things Yahweh Showed Me About Myself in 2018.” If you read yesterdays blog than you are already aware that for the last five days of 2018 I will be posting something each day that focuses on what I’ve learned about me this past year. Yesterday I talked about how I had no idea who I was. If you haven’t already done so. Please take a second to go and read that blog before this one as it will take you on a journey throughout all five posts. As always I pray that it causes to you examine yourself and prompts you to allow Yahweh to make adjustments where needed. Blessings.

As a little girl, I was taught very early that I had to be responsible. We didn’t grow up with a ton of money so we found ways to be resourceful. I recall a story that my Mother reminds me of from time to time. I believe I was ten or eleven when this happened. My Mother was single Mother of 3 children when I was that age. We lived in a town-home in Chicago Heights, IL. She worked all the time and would sometimes struggle to put food on the table. This one evening she found herself crying because there wasn’t a full meal for us to eat. She says I went up to her and told her not to cry because I made the family dinner. I grabbed her hand and walked her down the narrow hallway into the kitchen. She arrived at the table which I set with paper plates, napkins, and utensils. I even had my younger siblings sitting at the table waiting for her. On the menu were canned corn and hard white rice that I attempted to perfect. Lol. It immediately made her smile. Even at the age of ten, I believed in my own ability. This survival instinct to make something out of nothing followed me throughout my entire life.

Now I know what you’re thinking. Making something out of nothing is a great trait to have. I agree. It is a great trait to have when used in the right context. I, however, spent a large portion of my life misplacing my ability in areas that God should have had dominion. This year Yahweh showed me how much I believed in my own ability. There were times I worked two jobs to fund my selfish desires instead of paying my tithes and believing God to be my provider. There were times I found comfort in my sin in order to numb pain instead of believing God to be my comforter. There were times I hide my past instead of repenting for it and allowing God to free me from its bondage. There were times I secretly walked around with shame and guilt instead of casting my cares on God. There were times that I bent over backward to get man’s approval instead of giving God my attention so that He could show me my worth. There were times that I laid awake at night trying to come up with a solution instead of seeking God for His understanding and wisdom. There were times that I lied instead of trusting that God would recover what I lost in my truth. There were times I took pills and drank alcohol to stop the voices of the enemy in my mind instead of calling on The Prince of Peace. Even without result, I spent years placing my ability over God’s ability.

The Word of God Reminds Us Of God’s Ability,

Then Job replied:
“How you have helped the powerless!
How you have saved the arm that is feeble!
What advice you have offered to one without wisdom!
And what great insight you have displayed!
Who has helped you utter these words?
And whose spirit spoke from your mouth?
“The dead are in deep anguish,
those beneath the waters and all that live in them.
 The realm of the dead is naked before God;
    Destruction lies uncovered.
 He spreads out the northern skies over empty space;
he suspends the earth over nothing.
He wraps up the waters in his clouds,
yet the clouds do not burst under their weight.
He covers the face of the full moon,
    spreading his clouds over it.
He marks out the horizon on the face of the waters
for a boundary between light and darkness.
The pillars of the heavens quake,
    aghast at his rebuke.
 By his power he churned up the sea;
    by his
wisdom he cut Rahab to pieces.
 By his breath the skies became fair;
his hand pierced the gliding serpent.
 And these are but the outer fringe of his works;
how faint the whisper we hear of him!
Who then can understand the thunder of his power?”

Job 26

With a God like this, why would we ever believe in our own ability vs His ability?

With four days left in 2018 I am grateful that Yahweh has shown me that I no longer believe in my own ability over His. Our relationship has grown and in that growth I am able to call on the one who dwells in the impossible. Yesterday he reminded me that in 2018 He showed me who I was. Today we reflected on the relinquishing of my own ability and adapting to God’s ability which has proven to be something this new creature in Christ loves more.

How Great Is Our God.

The Top 5 Things Yahweh Showed Me About Myself in 2018.

Good Evening my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray that you’ve spent the week living intentionally and with purpose. We are currently in the last five days of 2018. After spending the holidays with family in another state, which I loved. I’ve made it back home to round out the rest of my vacation relaxing in the confines of my master bedroom. As I was sitting in bed mentally reviewing the upcoming projects for 2019 the Lord dropped in my spirit everything that I’ve learned about myself this past year. With that being said, I welcome you to “The Top 5 Things Yahweh Showed Me About Myself in 2018.” I’ll be posting one thing I learned about myself for the next five days, in no particular order. As always I pray that it causes you to reflect on your own life and inspires you to make adjustments with the help of Yahweh.

The first thing that Yahweh showed me about myself this past year was that I had no idea who I was. If you follow my blog then you will find many posts about the discovery of the Woman of God I have grown to be now. This woman that is before you was not always easily identified. My roles and titles shaped my identity. My past shaped my thoughts. My life was cultivated in sexual perversion which reigned over my judgment. I was who life formed me to be and my aspirations were designed by those around me.

So you can imagine when I received a task from God at the beginning of the year to come clean about my past decisions I wasn’t thrilled. I remember thinking, “My life is about to be over.” I was petrified that my past had finally caught up with me and that people would no longer view me as the person they thought I was all these years. With my emotions in shambles, I put my sins out there to be judged. Then something miraculous happened.

In my confession, I finally put my obedience to God before I put my fear of how man would view me. It was in that moment that the progression of what is now the best relationship I’ve ever had happened. It was in that moment that my identity as a Child of God was birthed. It was also in that moment that I was introduced to my purpose in this world.

The Word of God says,

“You will never succeed in life if you try to hide your sins. Confess them and give them up; then God will show mercy to you.”

Proverbs 28:13

I spent so many years trying to hide my sins to protect the thing that I should have been dying to every day, my flesh. Yahweh showed me that up until that moment my identity was engulfed in my flesh which was not of Him. So not only did those around me not know who I really was; neither did I. I was tired of being bound by my past. I desired to be free. It was in my freedom that I learned my identity. All of that happened in the moment that I chose to be obedient to God and not to my flesh.

So who is Tiffany? I am a Child of the Most High God which makes me healed, whole, set-free, virtuous, loyal, precious, successful, pure, anointed, wise, and loving to name a few. I am so far from who the world formed me to be and I thank God every day for introducing me to who He created me to be. 2018 will forever be a year that I will remember. It was this year that Yahweh became my number one priority and in return, He showed me how to love my true self. I finally found me.

His Word Tells Us,

So we have stopped evaluating others from a human point of view. At one time we thought of Christ merely from a human point of view. How differently we know him now! This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.  So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin so that we could be made right with God through Christ.”

2 Corinthians 5:16-21

“Allow Yahweh to introduce you to who He created you to be. That person is worth getting to know.” ~T.Nolan

It’s Manifestation Time

Good Morning my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray you’ve spent the week living intentionally and with purpose. I was at work yesterday and one of my patients told me that everyone she meets with the name Tiffany is so precious. She told me I was so blessed and how grateful she was for my care. It prompted me to look up the meaning of my name and it blew me away. Tiffany means “Manifestation of God.” I sent my Mother a text to ask her if she knew the meaning of my name and she said no. She told me that she just made a post on Facebook that said: “It’s Manifestation Time.” Wow. My Mother is a Pastor and Prophet. From God’s mouth to our ears. It’s confirmation that we’re entering a season of “Manifestation.”

I’ve often heard or watched videos that are entitled, “How to Manifest” this or that. I believe like most, manifesting something has a lot to do with speaking things into existence.

The Bible references this same thing by saying,

“The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit.”

Proverbs 18:21

What we speak we shall have. In the same effect, what we allow people to speak over us will also manifest if we allow it. I know first hand how what we speak transfers over into who we are or what we will have. If you’ve read some of my other blog post I touch on how I didn’t see myself how God saw me. I spoke death over who I was created to be because I didn’t have a clear vision of that woman. I allowed people in my past to speak death into me which ultimately led to this person who had no self-love or value. It wasn’t until I gave my life to God that I was able to see clearly how valuable I really was then I was able to reverse what had been spoken over me. God manifested his spirit in me and now my eyes can see.

The Word of God says,

“Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good.”

1 Corinthians 12:7

So when we talk about Manifesting something we need to acknowledge:

  1. The thing we’re speaking into existence.
  2. Is what we’re speaking into existence from God?
  3. Is what we’re speaking into existence fruitful or not? Recognize if it’s blessings or curses that are coming out of our mouth.
  4. Apply God’s Manifesting Power to what we’re speaking over our life.

If you are someone who has ever said, “I’ve been applying for a promotion for months now and it seems as everyone except me receives a promotion. I’ll never get promoted.” That’s speaking death over your ability to be promoted. Don’t you know that you’re a Kings kid. He is our provider. He qualifies the unqualified all the time. Our response should always be one that exemplifies prosperity because our Father is the embodiment

Look what our Father wants for us,

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”

3 John 1:2 KJV

On the other hand, if you’re someone who has always felt less than. Felt like where you are in life at this moment is the highest level you will ever be. Felt like no one would ever love you or you would do nothing but fail. You must first acknowledge:

  1. Who spoke those things over you? There had to have been an entry point for you to develop these thoughts about yourself. If you can’t remember then pray and ask God to show you where it started.
  2. Once you know where it came from then decree and declare that you are no longer in agreement with those curses. That they are far from you and are thrown into the sea of nothingness. They will never return upon you. They have no home in you anymore. Decree that every curse spoken over your life is void and expired and no longer lays dormant in your life. You are free, In Jesus Name, Amen.
  3. Walk in your freedom.

Understand that manifesting something in your life is tied to your ability to speak something over your life then believing God will provide what you speak. If He has promised you something then you shall have it. Don’t find it odd or random that you’ve always dreamed of owning a business, being an Author, or psalmist. Those things were planted in you and in due season they will blossom. Don’t forget what God promised you because “It’s Manifestation Time.” Blessings.

Prayer of Manifestation

In the name of Jesus, we come to you right now Father thanking you for your Manifesting Power. You alone God manifested yourself in the flesh and sacrificed your one and only son for us so that we may have life. With that same power, you’ve given us access to your marvelous works. So, Lord, we speak your Manifesting Power over our God-Given Purpose. That it will rise up, drip with your anointing, and accomplish what it was created to do. We speak your Manifesting Power into our marriages, relationships, friendships, finances, health, and businesses. They are generationally prosperous in the name of Jesus. We speak your Manifesting Power over our minds. That the Word of God will have complete dominion over every thought, notion, concept, reasoning, and become the author of our knowledge, understanding, and wisdom. We speak your Manifesting Power over our children and their children and our lineage. That generational curses are broken indefinitely. That our bloodlines will raise a standard for the Kingdom of God. Father, we speak your Manifesting Power over attacks of the enemy. They will NOT prosper, they will NOT hold us captive, they will NOT torment us, they will NOT drag us into sin, they will NOT be hidden, they will NOT conquer us, and they will NOT manifest in the Name of Jesus. We bind every curse that has been spoken over our lives, Father. We no longer identify with those who cursed our names. Those people and spirits no longer find placement in our life. Lord, we decree and declare that with your Manifesting Power we are who you say we are. We will do what you say we can do. We have what you say we can have. Thank you,   Lord, for your Manifesting Power. In Jesus name, Amen.

Don’t limit God’s ability. His Manifestation Power expands in ways you can never imagine. ~T.Nolan

To New Christian Bloggers From A New Christian Blogger

Good Morning my brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray you’ve spent the week living intentionally and with purpose. As we are on our journey to becoming who God created us to be there will be times that we feel discouraged in our well doing. The word of God says,

“So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.”

Galatians 6:9

Being new to the blogging world I’ve already found myself being drawn into the anxiousness of counting my followers. I believe most new bloggers have had this happen to them. As for me, it’s not so much the recognition that I’m anxiously awaiting. It’s the ability to have a platform where I can share with His children what our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has done and is doing in my life. It’s the desire to want to tell how God delivered me from my sins, forgave me, cleansed me, and changed my identity. It’s the position of wanting to be used by the Father to spread His word so that others can also be changed. In the midst of my anxiousness, the Holy Spirit reminded me,

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”

Philippians 4:6-7

I was so anxious about doing my part in the Kingdom that I was getting away from the fact that His work is still being done in me. I was posting under the directive of the Holy Spirit to encourage the body of Christ, and He showed me what He really was doing was answering one of my prayers. I’ve prayed for the last several months about being consistent and disciplined. This blog along with other ventures has positioned me to be just that. So even though I pray that Mindful of Me Moments reaches the multitude, which it will do one day. Right now God is developing the woman He created me to be so that when the multitude comes I am in the proper position to handle it. We have to be equipped to handle the weight of the vision and I’m still in training. Ultimately, I desire for my brothers and sisters to be changed. I desire for you all too continually develop on your journey to self-care through Christ and that same thing that I’m praying for you is exactly what God is doing in me. He is changing and developing me every day.

Mindful Quote: “Don’t under develop yourself while you’re on your journey to helping someone else.”

T.Nolan

What’s the takeaway today? If you have heard from God and He has given you a vision for your life. Continue to focus on growing your relationship with Him first. When you do that He will give you instruction on when and how to develop your vision. God gives us a vision of what’s to come. He gives the vision to us as a glimpse of what His plans are for us. (As long as we stay connected to Him) In order to be the change, you have to first be changed. The Lord is allowing me to learn something new every day about me.

Don’t be discouraged in early beginnings. These are the times to prepare for the vision. Be consistent. Be disciplined. Be obedient to Christ. Have Faith and Do Work. Blessings.
